ZimLedger Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a legal guardian to use ZimLedger. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Plans and Subscriptions

ZimLedger offers the following plans:

• Free Plan: access to limited features.
• Premium Plan: access to all features, billed monthly or annually.

Current prices are displayed on our website and in the Platform.

Where your payment method supports automatic renewal, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of the billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

If a payment is not received when it is due, access to Premium features will be suspended until payment is made.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store are billed, renewed, cancelled, and refunded in accordance with the terms and refund policies of those stores.

We may change our prices from time to time. Price changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will give reasonable advance notice of any price change affecting your subscription.

5. Use of the Platform

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Upload malicious content, attempt to access others' accounts, or interfere with the Platform's operation.
• Upload Ecocash statements which do not belong to you.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into ZimLedger, including your financial records and the information you enter about your customers and staff.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are lawfully entitled to collect and store any information you enter about other people, and that the people concerned have been informed where required by law.

You grant ZimLedger permission to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Platform to you.

We recommend that you download any records you need before cancelling your subscription or deleting your account.

7. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data. You have full control over your data, including tools to delete your financial history or your account entirely.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. While we take all reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee complete security, especially if your login details are compromised. You use ZimLedger at your own risk and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

9. Disclaimer

The content provided on ZimLedger is for informational and educational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information on business ideas, financial literacy, and related topics, ZimLedger does not offer financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

Before making any financial decisions, starting a business, or relying on any information from ZimLedger, we strongly recommend that you consult with a qualified professional or advisor.

10. Calculations and Generated Documents

ZimLedger provides tools that calculate figures and generate documents, including payslips, PAYE and NSSA deductions, financial statements, contracts, agreements, and affidavits.

These tools are provided for convenience. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all calculations and generated documents before relying on them or issuing them to others. Generated legal documents are templates and do not constitute legal advice.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, features, software, and branding of ZimLedger are the property of Techbolt Digital (Pvt) Ltd. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that harms ZimLedger or its users. You may also delete your account at any time via your account settings, or by contacting us at info@zimledger.co.zw.

Accounts that have had no sign-in activity for 6 months and do not have an active paid plan may be deleted at ZimLedger's discretion, together with all associated data.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of ZimLedger after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

ZimLedger is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free functionality. ZimLedger shall not be held liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including data loss or financial decisions based on the information provided.

15. Service Level Agreement

Service levels, support arrangements, and availability objectives for Premium customers are described in the ZimLedger Service Level Agreement (SLA).

The SLA prevails over these Terms on the matters it covers. In all other respects, these Terms apply.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.

If a dispute arises out of or relating to these Terms, both parties will first attempt to resolve it in good faith through negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be resolved in Zimbabwean courts.

17. Third-Party Services

ZimLedger may integrate or link to third-party services (such as payment gateways). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or performance of these third parties. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
